As in any organization, running a fire department requires a significant amount of administrative talent. In fact, more than half of the work of the department is administrative in nature. As a non-profit corporation we need individuals to fill a variety of roles from basic organizational duties to senior leadership. Some of the administrative areas include:

Requirements

To be an administrative member, you must commit to the following level of participation:

Associate Membership

For those individuals who would like to contribute to the department in an administrative capacity, but cannot commit to a consistent level of participation, the associate membership category exists.

Associate members perform a variety of administrative functions on a less structured schedule. The only requirement that we request from our associate members is that they commit to performing a specific administrative function on a regular basis.

Associate members are encouraged to attend membership meetings and other community outreach events, but by nature of this category of membership are not required to. Therefore, associate members do not have voting rights on departmental matters.
